Murray Fox, MD FACOG

Dear Patients:

It is with mixed emotions that I am announcing my retirement from active practice. It is, and has been, a great pleasure providing for your health care needs over the years, so this decision has not come easily. Our relationship through the years has been both personally and professionally gratifying. I am deeply grateful for the trust you have placed in me.

I am very happy to announce that Dr. Quyen Dang will be taking over my practice. I am pleased that you will have the opportunity to have her as your physician. Dr. Dang is a high honors graduate of Bryan Adams High School in Dallas and a 2004 Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa graduate from Texas A & M University. She received her Medical Doctor Degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Dr. Dang is well trained, having completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology from The University of Texas Health Science Center, Bexar County Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident 2012 – 2013. (Not only is this where I trained, one of my fellow residents and teachers also taught Dr. Dang and has given her sterling recommendations). After completion of her training, Dr. Dang served as Clinical Assistant Professor of OB/GYN at the Medical School in San Antonio.

I am glad to be able to leave my patients in Dr. Dang’s capable hands. Of course, you may seek medical care from any one of the existing Women’s Specialists of Plano physicians, or another doctor if you like.

Although I am planning to retire December 31, 2014, because of the variable time required for new physicians to obtain hospital privileges and to be credentialed by insurance companies, I will continue to be in the office until Dr. Dang’s paperwork is complete, to both care for patients and introduce Dr. Dang to private practice and to the community.

Your medical records are confidential, and a copy can be transferred to another doctor or released to you or another person you designate only through your permission. If you plan to continue with this office, you can sign an authorization form to release your files to Dr. Dang on your next visit. If you choose to see a different physician, please complete an authorization form and return it to my office as soon as possible so we may transfer your records to your new doctor. Until then, your records will remain on file at the Women’s Specialists of Plano office.

I have greatly valued our relationship and thank you for your loyalty and friendship over the years.
